  The Juneteenth Festival, a national celebration of freedom, is set in Innovation Quarter, the once thriving and bustling African American business community. This yearís festival includes Jazz, Gospel, Blues, R&B featuring Tony Dove, Big Ron Hunter, Voices of Godís Children, Keith Byrd, Galvin Crisp, Diana Tuffin, Otesha African Dance Ensemble, Big 4 Choir; Health fair with seminars, the WSSU Mobile Health Unit, Financial information; heritage displays, exhibitors, artists and craftsmen, book signings, and community agencies; Food Trucks and Marketplace vendors; Interactive Youth area with face painting, dance workshops, crafts and music. preview of Winston-Salem Fashion Week. Special African American heritage tours will be offered. Time: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
