This exhibition will celebrate the history of Winston-Salem Delta Fine Arts, established in 1972 as the city’s first nonprofit cultural and educational organization established by African-American women. It will feature works commemorating the artists and collectors with whom we have worked over the past 45 years including Elizabeth Catlett, John Biggers, Lois Mailou Jones, Eugene Grisby, Ernest Crichlow, Francis `Sonny` Brown, and others. ------- The Reflections exhibit at the Delta Arts Center opens the 2017-2018 exhibition season. The three exhibits to be held in the Simona Atkins Allen gallery during this year will be focused on the following theme: the Legacy of the Creative Spirits. Intimate exhibitions in the People’s Gallery at the Delta Arts Center will also allow the visitor the opportunity to reflect further upon this theme. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, September 7 at 6:00pm; the event is free and open to the public.

Cost: Free - Open the Public
